I always use insurance when shipping my jewelry to their new homes. So glad I do, as this beautiful piece went missing in the mail, never to been seen again. It never even made it out of the Oakland distribution center, heartbreaking. Fortunately the insurance covered it all, and the customer ordered another piece. I still wonder where it ended up.
